Kelly Champagne OWNER/ MARKETING SPECIALIST Kelly left corporate America and a 10-year career in Marketing in 2018 to pursue her dream of helping non-profits effectively tell their story without the large investment other firms require. Kelly has worked with global brands such as Comcast, Charter, General Motors, Audi, BMW and Volkswagen in her roles as Product Marketing Manager for a cyber security provider and Marketing Director at an automotive live chat company. Kelly has extensive experience in building effective marketing and communication plans, driving results utilizing data-driven processes and implementing industry best practices within a non-profit environment. She holds a Bachelor’s in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and is a lifelong Packers, Brewers, and Badgers fan. She is also a cradle Lutheran and has served in various lay leadership positions such as youth adult leader, council member, hospitality team member and capital campaign marketing chair to name a few. |
Kenny Champagne Owner / Design Specialist Kenny is a Deacon in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, ordained in September of 2020. He has been serving congregations in various roles from youth ministry to discipleship lead since 2008. After graduating from Wartburg Theological Seminary, he was called to serve a multi-campus congregation in Northern Virginia as Deacon for Discipleship. Not only does Kenny have a passion for ministry but he has a passion to see ministry thrive and grow. Kenny's background from Florida State University studying media production has helped him in his ministries to better publicize his congregations and communicate the gospel. In his years serving the church, Kenny has also lead media and communication ministries which included website design, graphic design, video production, sound engineering, publication design and more. He is excited to help others learn how to better communicate the Gospel in an ever changing 21st century and participate in kingdom building! |
Emily Christenson Creative Director Emily and Kelly met at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in 2019 where Emily is a life-long member. After working together for 2 years on ad-hoc projects, Emily officially joined the Evoke team in March of 2021. With over 20 years in the creative business, Emily Christenson is sought after for her design intuition, her collaborative spirit, and her ability to see how immediate needs fit into the larger picture of their brand. Emily is an effective communicator, and believes that design should enhance and never impede the message at hand. Emily also manages her own design firm, Paintbox Creative. |
Rebecca Haugen Account Manager Rebecca was raised in the upper Mid-West where she attended Lutheran schools through her high school graduation. She then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree. She has a passion for helping individuals and communities as demonstrated through previous roles as a certified nursing assistant, fitness coach, and life insurance producer. Through her professional endeavors, Rebecca utilizes her coordination skills, detailed mindset, and focused energy strengths - all with effective and empathetic communication. She is motivated to use these attributes to the benefit of Evoke clients. Rebecca loves to engage with animal care & rescue organizations and has even worked with African and Asian elephants. Her other interests include hiking and camping, planning trips and events, and cheering on the Badgers, Bills, and Vikings. She also loves exploring the city of Knoxville, TN, where she and her husband, Nate, currently reside. |
Aimee Topping COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR Aimee joined the Evoke team in May of 2023 after serving a mission start congregation in Charlotte, NC for over 6 years. Aimee has managed it all— communications, worship planning, hospitality, children and youth ministry, budgeting and finances—so she knows exactly what our church clients have to juggle every day. Aimee is a teacher at heart as she holds a Masters Degree in Teaching from the University of New Hampshire. Aimee is also a mom of two children and continues to reside in the Charlotte area. |
